Guestbook for Kay D. Crosby Showing 1 - 5 of 8 entries.

I will miss Kay so much. I always loved hearing her stories of growing up. She was so witty. Her laugh would make me laugh. She is one of the strongest woman I have had the pleasure of knowing. My prayers go out to her family. May the love of those around you,
help you through the days ahead.
With Sincerest Sympathy~
Gail

Kay ~
I got up and dialed your number
And your voice came on the line
That old familiar message
I heard a thousand times it just said
Sorry that I missed you
Leave a message and god bless
I know you think I’m crazy
But I had to hear your voice again

I’m gonna miss that smile
I’m gonna miss you my friend
Even though it hurts the way it ended up
I’d do it all again
So play it sweet in heaven
‘Cause that’s right where you wanna be
I’m not crying 'cause I feel so sorry for you
I’m crying for me

Kay and I went to CMU and in her honor I wore a bright yellow shirt to the funeral. I had a CMU cap but decided not to wear it but Kay must still be laughing.Thank you John and Jane for taking such good care of her as well as her kids and grandchildren, relatives, teachers, friends, neighbors and anyone in Lake Odessa for helping as well. Ron and Lesley(your mother, those who took her for treatments)sorry I can't remember all the names and all those who were with her that I did not meet.It is so special to be around such nice people--listen to their stories about Kay and her home plus it's History. The Priest kept saying Family & Grandchildren and that is what in times like this we are all a great big FAMILY.(The Family of a helping community) Thanks again to all of you.

I forgot Kay played the Piano along with Uncle Bill Blackmer(Kay's mother Brother) and Uncle Clem Kramer(Aunt Hy's husband) played the saxophone. I also remember we made Home Ice Cream by cranking it which sure was good.
