Lucille S. Van Siclen, age 85, of Lake Odessa, went to be with her Lord in Heaven on June 8, 2010. Lucille was born in Lake Odessa on September 20, 1924 to Clark and Doris (Snyder) Van Siclen. She had worked for many years at the Lake Odessa Canning Company and Lake Odessa Machine Products before retiring. She was met in Heaven by her parents; brothers, Elwood, Leland, and Arza Van Siclen; sister, Doris Fedora Nasset; and several in-laws. Lucille loved angels, and now she is watching over her remaining brother, Eugene (Sandy) Van Siclen; and six sisters, Clara Haney, Marsha Fox, Frances (Leon) Miller, Catherine Roy, Eulah (Elmer) Gostnell, and Martha (John) Shockey. Also surviving and being watched over are many nieces and nephews and their families whom she considered to be like her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 14 with visitation for one hour before the service. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at Cunningham's Acre.
